Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal took to Twitter to heap praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. The minister shared a video showing snippets of PM Modi's soaring popularity among world leaders and the international community. The clip, which is over one minute long shows PM Modi hugging and shaking hands with US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese among others.

The video also showcases PM Modi's popularity among the Indian diaspora. He is seen giving speeches and being cheered at events held by the community during his international visits. The clip shows the PM in spotlight wherever he goes.

"The Boss!," read the caption of the video shared by Union Minister Piyush Goyal. Interestingly the background music playing in the video also goes by the same title from the film 'Boss' staring Akshay Kumar.

Recently, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese heaped praise on Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, likening him to American rock star Bruce Springsteen while addressing the community event in Sydney for the Indian diaspora.

In his introductory remarks, Albanese referred to the vast audience and called PM Modi "The Boss", the name by which Bruce Springsteen is referred by his fans.

"The last time I saw someone on this stage was Bruce Springsteen and he did not get the welcome that Prime Minister Modi has got. Prime Minister Modi is The Boss," said the Australian PM, drawing huge applause from thousands gathered at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney for the event on May 23.

“You have brought the spirit of the world’s biggest democracy to Australia,” Albanese further said of PM Modi.

The Prime Minister made his first visit to Sydney in nine years.
