A Bengaluru-based software engineer who had recently booked a ride with Rapido had a unique experience to share online. Taking to the microblogging platform Twitter he explained how to his surprise, the rider assigned to pick him up arrived on an upscale motorcycle, Royal Enfield Hunter. That's not all, the rider turned out to be a software engineer with a great interest in motorcycling. In fact, he too was an employee of the very company hosting the event that the booking was made for.
Explaining how he booked a Rapido ride to a Kubernetes meetup and the captain arrived on a Royal Enfield Hunter and revealed that he was a DevOps engineer at the company managing enterprise Kubernetes clusters, Nishit Patel wrote “You won't believe the crazy @peakbengaluru moment I had today! On my way to a Kubernetes meetup, my Rapido captain pulled up on a Royal Enfield Hunter. Turns out he's a DevOps engineer at a company managing enterprise Kubernetes clusters. Just another day in India's tech capital."
This extraordinary occurrence has garnered close to 7,000 views 117 likes and several comments after being shared on the microblogging site.
