Despite being told about the ill effects of consuming junk food, the popularity of fast food chains doesn't seem to have waned much.  A nutritionist recently took to social media to share how she happened to be at a fast food corner and saw people making some unhealthy choices. She took a picture of one such order and also posted it on the social networking site X (formerly Twitter). Since being share the post has gone viral.

"As I wait for a bottle of water in the queue - this is what I see most people ordering! No Wonder overweight, obesity, and most metabolic diseases are on the rise. I realise we have come very far away from real foods!", reads the caption shared by nutritionist Pramila Mundra.

The picture shared on X shows a tray with burgers, fries, and a soft drink kept on a table inside a restaurant.

Since being shared, the video has amassed close to 4 lakh views and tons of mixed reactions.

"Processed food Spike insulin and glucose still people love It,' commented one user on the post.

"Yes shopping centres, airports and food courts ....longest queues are on such food counters..and it's no longer restricted to tier 1 cities," wrote another user on the post.

While a third wrote, You were trying to buy a  bottle of water in McDonald’s while guilt tripping people who are ordering McDonald’s food at McDonald’s? Why this Kolaveri D? Although I truly believe in healthy living, still this attitude of nutritionists towards guilt tripping people needs to end."

"You were waiting for a bottle of water in a queue at McDonald’s and you’re surprised that people are ordering McDonald’s food at McDonald’s? Just trying to understand," commented a fourth.
