A 30-year-old woman's ad to look for a groom with unique qualities has gone viral on social media. The woman, who described herself as an "opinionated feminist" said she is looking for someone who neither farts nor burps. The matrimonial advertisement was shared by a user on X with the caption, "30-year-old feminist woman, working against capitalism requires a 25-year-old wealthy boy with a well-established business."

The woman said she works in the social sector and has piercings and short hair. She said she is looking for a well-built groom aged 25-28 and he should be an only son with a thriving business, a bungalow, or a substantial farmhouse. Cooking skills are also a must, as per the ad that has gone viral on social media.

The post saw mixed reactions as some found it funny, while others termed it "problematic". A user wrote, "Zepto should deliver her a groom in 10 minutes", while another said, "She declared her appearance, not properties, but specified requirements on prospects' properties. Is this feminism!?"

"That is the true face of socialists and socialism," a user wrote. "At least she is honest. If you keep a tab, her priorities will change by 38," wrote another woman. "Funny and probably true, but in reality this looks cooked up.. the font and letter spacing etc are totally different from the rest of the paper. probably created on another machine and photoshopped in," a comment read.

It was later revealed that the ad was, in fact, a prank orchestrated by the woman's brother and best friend to mark her 30th birthday. The advertisement was originally posted in 2021 in a newspaper.

"Men ask for tall, slim beautiful brides all the time, they brag about their wealth, but when the tables are turned, they can't stomach it," the woman told BBC.
