The nine-day festival of Navratri or Shardiya Navratri commenced on October 15 and is being celebrated across the country with great zeal and enthusiasm. One these nine days, people worship Maa Durga and her nine forms in different ways. Puja pandals, dandiya and garba programs are amongst the highlights of the Durga Puja celebrations. Till now you must have seen, garba being performed on solid ground, but a video has gone viral on the internet in which a man is doing garba underwater.


Shared on Instagram by hydroman_333, Jaydeep Gohil, India's first underwater dancer, known for his captivating underwater dance performances can be seen doing garba beneath the water's surface. Gohil dressed in blue and white traditional attire with decoration of dhols in the background, flawlessly dances to the beats of "Radhe Radhe" from the film Dream Girl, without missing a single rhythm. 


Since being shared, the video has amassed more than 10 million views and over 7 lakh likes. People also took to the comments box to praise Gohil's talent and commented on the difficulty he must have had performing underwater.






One of the user on seeing the video commented, "You are marvel. my daughter 7 year old big fan of yours please let me know your address make her meet you and your talent."
