Nagaland Minister Temjen Imna Along is an avid social media user and his posts immediately become viral for their humour and messages attached to them. This time the minister has stroked nostalgia by sharing a picture of himself getting into a white Ambassador car and probably heading to office.
This classic car was once a prime choice of politicians, civil servants and also the masses. With the passage of time, the car has slowly been replaced by other foreign brands. However, a few of them are still in operation in government offices.
"It's Mondaaaay! Let's get ready for work! I too have an Ambassador," read the Twitter post of the the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader.
In the pic, Along can be seen entering the Ambassador car wearing a blue jacket as a man opens the door for him.
Since being shared, the pic has amassed 245.6k views, 6,064 likes and several comments.
"The 7th and the final generation car produced around 2004, the best comfortable car made around that time, commented a user on the post.
"Wow.. Lucky guy. Having an Ambassador is luxury," wrote another user.
"Sir, Your car and you, complement each other in terms of heavy-duty (work)," commented one user jokingly.
"Sir, have you driven ambassador? I got a chance in kolkata many years back when my ambi taxi broke down and the driver pushed & I drove. It was an amazing experience, woh to Maruti ka baap tha," wrote a fourth.
