From scantily dressed girls to people fighting inside metro coaches and couples indulging in public displays of affection, the Delhi Metro has been in the news recently for a lot of odd stuff. This time we are not going to talk about any bizarre situation but of a young man singing a soulful melody of the legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Since being shared on the internet, the video has gone viral.

In the clip shot inside Delhi Metro, a person by the name Ritik can be seen singing Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Sanson Ki Mala while his friend plays the guitar. The performance struck a chord with fellow passengers who listened to the beautiful song in complete silence.

Since being shared, the video has amassed over 51,000 likes and tons of comments.

"Delhi Metro be like Tum Mumbai aney wale ho," commented one user on the post.

"I still remember I heard this song for the first time when he put this on his insta story and now I'm addicted to this song!," wrote another user.

"We should support these artist rather than making famous chapri singers, commented a third.

While a fourth sarcastically wrote, "Indian idol auditions can be hosted in Delhi metro."

Delhi Metro had recently issued a warning against people making reels, videos inside metro stations and trains.

"We request our commuters to maintain discipline and decorum while travelling by the Metro," read the statement issued by DMRC.

"All passengers must ensure that their behaviour doesn’t cause any inconvenience to fellow commuters. DMRC’s flying squads regularly travel across the network to detect such activity," the statement further read.
