Getting a closure after a breakup is important as it relieves us off the feelings of guilt, resentment and regret. It also helps us to get out of such situations quicker and move ahead in life in a healthy way. A post related to this concept has gone viral on social media platforms.
A user by the name Velin took to Twitter to share a screenshot of his chat with his girlfriend as well as a screenshot of the "letter of closure” he wrote on her behalf asking her to sign the document and send it to him.
The post shared by Velin with the caption "Guys she said yes, and it’s official now" shows two images. One of the pictures shows a WhatsApp conversation between him and his ex-girlfriend, while the other is the letter he drafted.
In another tweet, he also clarified on why he wrote the letter on behalf of the girl who wanted to end things with him. “I wrote a letter on behalf of her because she wanted to end blah blah,” he tweeted.
Since being shared on Twitter, the post has garnered close to 6 lakh views, 6,820 likes and several comments.
"Such a unique approach to deal with breakups, and yeah, It's the funniest doc I've come across after the Roommate Agreement by Dr. Sheldon Cooper!", wrote one user on seeing the post.
