Online shopping has made our lives extremely easy today. But there also a few drawbacks of this mode of delivery as items can sometimes get mixed-up and you can end up receiving something that wasn't ordered by you. Something similar recently happened to Arun Kumar Meher, who ordered a photography lens worth Rs 90,000 from Amazon. Meher, was expecting a Sigma 24-70 f 2.8 lens, but to great shock and disgust, he allegedly found some quinoa seeds inside the delivered package.

Peeved at receiving the package, Arun lashed out at the seller. Taking to Twitter, Arun described how he ended up receiving a packet of chia seeds instead of the camera lenses worth Rs 90k.

"I ordered a 90K INR Camera lens from Amazon, but they have sent a lens box with a packet of quinoa seeds inside instead of the lens. Big scam by Amazon and Appario Retail. The lens box was also opened." read the caption of the post.

In the subsequent tweet, Meher asked Amazon to either solve the issue or refund the money.

"Amazon is saying they are investigating the case, but how come this happened in the first place? This is totally unacceptable, please solve it asap,” Meher wrote.

Since being shared the post has garnered 135.3k views and tons of comments.

"Same happened to me last year. Ordered a sigma 150-600 lens. They didn't even bother with the Sigma case. Just sent me a sewing machine," commented one user one the post.

"buy camera, lenses, and their accessories in local rather than amazon, you can get good discounts for high prices lenses etc," suggested a user.

"That's why some ppl Say avoid online shopping. Go Buy products from near by Market.... Aap apna product check kr skte ho," wrote a third.
