Depleting forest areas have increased man-animal conflict. One such video of an elephant halting a loaded truck to consume some sugarcane has gone viral on the internet.
The clip shared on the microblogging site Twitter by Dr Ajayita, shows a jumbo standing on the side of a highway and as a truck approaches, the jumbo goes to the centre of the road and stops the truck with a loud trumpet to pull out some sugarcane to eat.
The signboard where the elephant was standing in the video indicates that the incident took place somewhere in Thailand.
"The Toll Tax collector...." read the caption of the post shared by Ajayita.
Since being shared, the video has amassed over 2,30,000 views and tons of comments.
