The website of Jaipur Muncipal Corporation - Greater became a topic of discussion on social media after it incorporated simple hindi preset options to allow people to register complaints easily.


The presets seek to help residents with the problems they face in their daily lives pertaining to stray dogs or cleanliness among others.


The simple Hindi phrases are listed as complaint options on the website of Jaipur Municipal Corporation—Greater.


The lists of presets on the website included: “Kutta Mar Gaya Hai (Dog has died), Bandar Mar Gaya Hai (Monkey has died), Nali ki safai karani hai (Sewer needs to be cleaned),” Gandi Gali Ki Safai Karani Hai (Dirty streets need to be cleaned).


Some preset options, however, were either removed or translated to English later. The options drew positive responses from the people, as many on social media found the options for registering relevant complaints different from formal and traditional ways.


A user on X shared a screenshot of the website and wrote, "The developer of Jaipur municipal corporation website is crazy".






"Jaipur Municipal Corporation doing it right," wrote another user.






"ancient problems meet modern solutions," a user wrote.






Another user named Murthy called the preset opttions "Very real problems".






"Bhaasha wahi jo samajh me aaye" (in a language that is easily understood), a user named Aspirant wrote.






The sub-category section of preset options includes: “Nali ki safai karani hai (drain needs to be cleaned);" “Kachre Ka Dher Pada Hai (There is a pile of garbage)”, “road par ganda paani beh raha hai (dirty water on the road)", "Ghar se kachra nahi utha hai (Garbage is not picked from home)”, "Helper nahi aata hai (Helper does not come)".
