Elephants, also known as gentle giants are one of the most adorable animals around. They live in tight bonded female-led herds and often participate in daily activities together. To watch a herd graze together while making their way through a landscape is certainly a treat to the eyes. Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan, who is well-known for sharing interesting wildlife content on social media took to the microbloggigng site Twitter to share one such video that is being loved by social media users.

"The family which eats together. Our protection towers apart from providing protection, are good observational points also. Near one such tower," reads the caption of the video shared by Kaswan.

In the clip captured from a protection tower, one can see a herd of elephants grazing and enjoying their time together. About eight elephants can be seen in the video grazing calmly together and satisfying their appetite.

Since being shared the video has garnered close to 25,000 views and 929 likes.

"Such long tusks I think few of them should be moved to western ghats," commented one user on the post.

"Such long tusks...enjoying hearty breakfast ....wrote another user.

While a third questioned, "I have a silly question sir. Why are the elephants in India mostly grey or white (slightly) instead of the black ones we read about in school?".

Recently, another IFS officer Susanta Nanda had shared a video in which a few men were seen hollering at a herd of elephants trying to cross a road. In the clip a group of tourists could be seen getting close to a herd of wild elephants as they were making their way from one part of the jungle to another. While sharing the clip, Nanda condemned the act and shared how the men are putting their own lives at risk.
