Delhi Metro has become a hotspot for viral videos. From people dressing inappropriately and travelling in metro to fights breaking out for seats to influencers dancing inside trains for making reels despite warnings from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the rules have been frequently flouted. Now, adding to the repertoire of viral videos is a clip of an elderly woman objection to a couple romancing inside a metro train.
In the video shared on Instagram by @gharkekaleshh, an elderly woman can be seen reprimanding the couple for holding hands and pinching each other's cheeks. She even goes on to say that such display of affection should be done at a public place and that they can go somewhere else if they wish to behave like this.
The couple tries to reason with her to which the woman says "Baahar jake karo yesab".
"Kalesh b/w a Aunty and a Couple inside Delhi metro over couple were hugging each other inside metro," reads the caption of the video.
As soon as the video was shared it prompted mixed reactions from users. While some supported the woman's point of view, others saw no problem with such show of affection.
"it's a public offence showing physical affection in public she is right though, do you want you little kids to see that," commented one user on the post.
"Some people don't have manners to stay in public place," wrote another user.
While a third wrote, "Turn around and stand aunty... It's their life... Why are you intervening? They aren't having sex."
"Feeling bad for aunty for not getting enough hugs in life," commented a fourth.
Another user applauded the woman for standing against such public display of affection and wrote, "Good job..... Madam".
