Fish broth is extremely rich in flavour and is often used as a base for soups, stews, and sauces. It is often cooked in a pan or a pot but a video has gone viral on the internet in which a lady is seen making the broth in a plastic bag, leaving the netizens puzzled.

In the one-minute video shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter by @TheFigen_  an elderly woman can be seen placing a plastic bag full of water on top of a wood fire, but the bag surprisingly does not melt. She then adds some ingredients in to it and then places the fish into the bag. Then she adds some salt and begins to stir it.

"Elementary physics," read the caption of the tweet. Since being shared the video has amassed close to 5 million views and 13.9k likes.

What surprised people the most about the video was cooking the fish broth in a plastic bag.

"Someone please tell me why that bag doesn't melt. I don't understand," wrote one user on seeing the video.

"All those natural things, yet using plastic ? makes no sense -," wrote another user.

"She’s making BPA Soup with that plastic bag !!", wrote a third.

"Leaving aside the Physics part.. Who the hell carries Fish in a clay pot and cooks it in a polythene cover. Shouldn't it be the other way around?", wrote a fourth.
