A recent incident on the Bengaluru Metro has caught widespread attention after a video capturing two men exchanging blows went viral on social media. The 22-second dramatic clip, which has been widely shared, showed the men involved in a physical fight where they nearly wrestled each other to the floor in a crowded metro.

The video began with one passenger attempting to overpower another by grabbing him around the neck. The other passenger quickly tried to break free and struck back. In the ensuing scuffle, the two began exchanging blows, creating chaos in the crowded metro where there was barely any space for others to stand.

On seeing the fight, the passengers quickly intervened to calm the situation and separate the duo. Although the exact cause of the fight remains unclear, reports suggest it may have started due to a heated argument over shoving in the crowded metro compartment, as reported by NDTV.

The video has sparked discussions online about commuter etiquette and safety on public transportation.

Sharing the video, an X user said, "Frustrated travellers struggling to stand. Small inconvenience could trigger anyone. We all need to grow some tolerance while using public transport. A fight broke out between two inside an overcrowded Metro train in Bengaluru."

However, it sparked various reactions online, with some people commenting that the Bengaluru metro is gradually becoming like the Delhi metro.

The incident happened when Bengaluru's Namma Metro was already witnessing overcrowding.
