Rapper and singer Doja Cat took to Twitter on Thursday to request the new CEO, Elon Musk, for help after she accidentally locked her display name as "christmas" in the aftermath of the new rules.

Doja first took to the platform to write, "Why can’t I change my name on here."

She soon got a little aggressive with her approach and wrote "How do I change it, also f*** you Elon,” she said in a series of posts.

Later the singer toned herself down and wrote "i don't wanna be christmas forever @elonmusk please help i've made a mistake."

Musk replied to her tweet saying, “Working on it!” A couple of minutes later, he again wrote, "Pretty funny though," with crying laughing emojis to which Doja Cat said, "Thanks Elon."

Later Musk Tweeted to let her know that she should now be able to change her name. "You should be able to change your name now," Musk tweeted.

Doja Cat has now been able to updated her Twitter name to "fart".

However, by that time, Twitter users had flooded the comments box with memes.

“[Y]ou right now and forever… merry [C]hristmas,” wrote one Twitter user.

Another user shared a screenshot pointing how quickly Doja changed her tone with Musk in order to ask for help with the situation.

Earlier this week, Twitter launched a subscription service allowing users to buy blue check mark for $8 per month.

The original verification system was intended to identify real influential people but under the new CEO, Twitter has allowed anyone who pays for the service to have the blue tick.
