Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates recently tried his hands on making rotis. The billionaire appeared in a video with American celebrity chef and blogger Eitan Bernath, where the two are seen making rotis together.

In the clip shared by Bernath, Bill Gates is seen mixing the dough for roti with wheat flour, water and salt. And instead of using his hands Gates uses a spatula for mixing it up. After the dough was ready, the duo rolled it out in the form of rotis, roasted it on a tawa with ghee and enjoyed the home-style Indian rotis.

According to the post, Bernath learnt how to make rotis during his recent trip to Bihar, India where he visited the Didi ki Rasoi canteens to get some expertise on making roti.

"Bill Gates and I had a blast making Indian Roti together. I just got back from Bihar, India where I met wheat farmers whose yields have been increased thanks to new early sowing technologies and women from "Didi Ki Rasoi" canteens who shared their expertise in making Roti," read the caption of the post shared by chef Eitan Bernath.

Since being shared on Twitter, the video has amassed close to 2 lakh views, over 1,000 likes and several comments.

"Well done @EitanBernath @BillGates. Long live our Roti. Next time try it out with some healthy millet flour," wrote one user.

"Fun video. But trust me, this video is more like 'How not to make a roti'" wrote another user jokingly.

While one gave a suggestion and wrote, "Nice. You need to kneed dough by hand for the perfect tasty soft and fluffy Roti."

"Oh bhravo i like bill’s roti," wrote a fourth.
