US President Joe Biden, who is in Indonesia for the G20 summit nearly fell on stairs while he was heading towards the Taman Hutan Raya mangrove forest in Bali. A video of the incident shows Biden climbing the stairs to the Mangrove forest with his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo as he stumbles. But the Indonesia President grabs his hand in the nick of time and saves him from falling.

The video of the incident is being widely shared on the internet.

This not for the first time that the US President has appeared to lose his footing on live camera. On November 6, when Biden appeared at Sarah Lawrence College in a rally attended by hundreds, he at one point stumbled on the stage and appeared to lose his footing, reported ANI.

Earlier in June, the 79-year-old Biden tumbled off his bike as he took a ride near his vacation home in the US state of Delaware. He was immediately helped by his security personnel to get upright.

“As the President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine. No medical attention is needed. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family,” a White House official said, as reported by ANI.

A similar situation had happened in May when Biden was walking up the stairs of Air Force One. The President lost his footing and nearly fell. Last year he stumbled three times while climbing the stairs of a plane. That time Biden blamed his stumble on a strong gust of wind.
