A slogan written on an auto-rickshaw in Bengaluru has gone viral on social media. It read, "Slim or fat, black or white, virgin or not. All girls deserve respect." The photograph was shared on X by a user who captioned it, "Some radical feminism on the roads of Bangalore."
The post has evoked mixed reactions on the Internet as some users praised the slogan's "message", while others questioned its execution. "I can't believe I've got to say this but I don't actually think this is radical feminism? it's a fucking joke?" a woman replied on the post on X.
A man commented, "It's not radical feminism. Yes, I agree that it could have been written married or unmarried instead of virgin or not virgin. At least the driver is respecting women."
"I really don't know what definition of respect girls think it is," a user said, while another commented, "Seriously? A quote supporting respect for women of all colours and especially for women of colour of all body types isn't "radical feminism". It's the bare minimum a democratic society should push for and it must start from having gender studies at the school level."
A user said, "Some people are seriously retarded. What does respecting someone have to do with their weight, virginity or colour."
