Industrialist Anand Mahindra is an avid user of social media and is know for his creative, inspirational, and motivating tweets. This time, the business tycoon has taken to the microblogging site Twitter to share a video of an elephant with an important lesson of overcoming obstacles.
In the 45-second-long viral video shows how the elephant encounters a barbed wire fence while crossing a road. He is seen cautiously monitoring the fire fencing in order to avoid any harm. After a while, the pachyderm carefully pulls down the fence and crosses to the other side of the road safely.
“A masterclass from a pachyderm on how to overcome obstacles: 1) Carefully test how strong the challenge really is & where it might have least resistance. 2) Slowly apply pressure at the point of greatest leverage of your own strength. 3) Walk confidently through…,” read the caption of the video shared by Mahindra.
Since being posted on the microblogging site, the clip has amassed over 7 lakh views, 11.7k likes and comments.
"Those are power cables but not a fatal one which prevent animals from entering the populated area, That elephant is carefully touching each cable and trying a way cross it without getting a shock," commented one user on the post.
"In fact, they have learnt the hack of breaking eloctrocuted fences at 2 places and then using the gap in between to cross. Heard about this is Assam tea gardens," wrote another user.
"The fence most probably is powered. Hence the gentle test with the leg on the wire which is " live" and then uproot or remove the wooden post...," wrote a third.
While a fourth wrote, "they never forget their route , we humans made roads in between the natural route map they have in their minds.. obviously, the giant had to make the route again by removing the obstacle!."
