Ekta Kapoor's Star Plus show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', featuring Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya as 'Ishita Bhalla', began in December 2013 and is all set to complete successful six years next month. TV actor Karan Patel, also known as YHM's original 'Raman Bhalla', quit the much-loved show in July this year to participate in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 10' making his fans sad. Chaitanya Choudhary replaced Karan Patel as 'Raman' in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' however fans still miss Karan Patel. Here comes good news for Karan's fans!

Well, Karan Patel is making his comeback in the show as 'Raman Bhalla' very soon and Chaitanya Choudhary will turn out to be a different character. Yes, you read that right!

Confirming his return in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', Karan Patel told a leading daily that, "I don’t know why people speculated that I quit the show. I was just away from it for a while because I was busy with something else. This show will always be an integral part of my career and life."

While this latest development will make fans happy, the news of 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' going off-air soon is doing the rounds again. As per reports, the long-running Star Plus show is finally bidding goodbye to the viewers next month (December). 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' spin-off titled 'Yeh Hai Chahatein', featuring Abrar Qazi, Sargun Kaur and Parul Chauhan in pivotal roles,  is expected to replaced it. However, the official announcement is still awaited.

On being asked if 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' has run its course, Karan Patel further told TOI that, "I don’t think so. Though we have been playing these characters for long, people’s love and admiration for us haven’t dipped. It means that I am doing something right. Playing Raman Bhalla will always be a matter of pride for me. If a few think that 'YHM' has run its course, they need to recheck their facts with those who think it should go on."
