Bigg Boss 12: From celebs to commoners, MEET the 17 contestants of Salman Khan’s show

For the first time ever, fans got the opportunity to select the contestants of Bigg Boss 12. MTV Roadies Xtreme contestants Surbhi Rana and Kriti Verma and friends turned enemies Roshmi Banik and Mital Joshi entered the BB 12 Outhouse. Kriti and Roshmi managed to get maximum votes from the audience on voot app and have entered the show.

Sister duo Saba Khan and Somi Khan will participate in the show as commoners. The two have promised to not let their personal relationship come between the competition inside the house.

Gangs of Wasseypur singer Deepak Thakur will enter Bigg Boss 12 house with one of his biggest female fane Urvashi Vani. The young girl even claimed that she ran away from her home to meet the singer. Will they create trouble inside the house?

Sourabh Patel and Shivashish Mishra, who belong from Madhya Pradesh, will enter the show as commoner contestants. While Shivashish is a businessman, his friend Souranh is a farmer. Sourabh is here to change the stereotype image of a farmer and we hope he manages to do that.

Two friends from Haryana- Romil Chaudhary and Nirmal Singh will enter the show as commoners. Interestingly Romil is a lawyer while Nirmal is a policeman. What a killer duo, isn’t it?

Well-known devotional singer Anup Jalota will participate in Bigg Boss 12 with her fellow singer Jasleen Matharu. The bhajan maestro is reportedly said to be dating the sing, who has performed with him at several events.

Popular TV actor Karanveer Bohra, who earlier denied participating in BB 12, will enter as a celeb contestant. The ‘Naagin 2’ actor is a well known face in the television industry, having done shows like Saubhagyavati Bhava, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Qubool Hai.

Neha Pendse, who has impressed everyone in May I Come In Madam, said that she has participated in the show as she wants people to know her personally. She was seen on Kapil Sharma’s show- Family Time With Kapil Sharma.

Former crickter S Sreesanth, who has seen his own share of controversies, is also a contestant of Bigg Boss 12. The cricketer-turned-actor has been part of shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and Jhalak Dikh Laja on the small screen.

Another TV actress Srishty Rode is part of the twelfth season of Bigg Boss. The actress has been part of shows like Ishqbaaaz, Choti Bahu 2, Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed and Saraswatichandra. She was earlier rumoured to enter the BB 12 house along with boyfriend Manish Naggdev.

‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actress Dipika Kakar will enter Bigg Boss 12 house as a celebrity contestant. She is said to be paid a whopping amount for her participation in the show.

Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 12 is all set to premiere on Sunday (September 16) on Colors TV. The popular reality will see a total of 17 contestants including six celebs and 11 commoners, vying for the winner’s trophy. Here’s the list of confirmed Bigg Boss 12 contestants.
