Bigg Boss 11: Puneesh Sharma won 'Sarkaar Ki Duniya' beating Mink Brar, the Ex-Bigg Boss 6 contestant!
One contestant who's sure to bring trouble is Puneesh who told Salman that he has already won a reality show called 'Sarkaar Ki Duniya' taking home the price money of 1 crore.
The grand finale of the show that was aired on Real TV was held on July 3rd, 2009 and Puneesh lifted the trophy beating Ali Wassim Raja Mughal who was the runner up.
Ashutosh Rana presents Puneesh the winning trophy and he also walked away with 1 crore amount. Puneesh is now an investor in a chain of bars and night clubs and he claims he has no less a status than that of a celebrity.
When the game reached the last four stage, the Nishkasan (elimination) rights were revoked and open to the Indian public to vote for the Maha-Nayak.
The commoner contestant who had his first argument with Arshi Khan on Day 1 inside 'Bigg Boss 11' house over his lifestyle and 'ladkibaazi', the man from Gurgaon who boasted of his financial status revealed he had already won a reality show before.
Must say, after surviving in 'Sarkaar Ki Duniya' for 4 whole months on an island and going to win it too.. Puneesh sure looks promising when it comes to winning a show like 'Bigg Boss'. Or wait! May be that's too early to say considering the line up we saw last night. And particularly the image Puneesh built of himself on Day 1. The other one was Qazi Tauqeer who was the winner of singing reality show 'Fame Gurukul' in 2005.
Exactly like 'Bigg Boss', the contestants here too were living together in a different house and perform task to escape eliminations. Puneesh seen in camouflage jacket on the right.
The show was hosted by none other than one of Bollywood's finest actors Ashutosh Rana.
Launched in March 2009, show began with 18 contestants chosen from all over India and the set was put up on the Mango Island in Karwar, Karnataka.
'Sarkaar Ki Duniya' was a similar reality show like 'Bigg Boss' which had contestants competing with each other to win and interestingly they were put away from the world too and at an island.
One was model-actress Mink Brar who was in 'Bigg Boss 6' too. Mink joined 'Sarkaar Ki Duniya' as a wild card entry and got eliminated a month later.
Puneesh Sharma, way much younger then, gave a tough fight to his co-contestants and went on to win the show. There were two famous faces which were seen alongside him on the show and who were left far behind by him.
Host Salman has sent the total of 18 contestants, commoners and the celebrities inside the BB 11 house on Sunday night and the much awaited show has kickstarted with yet another entertaining season.
