7 Times 'Sasural Simar Ka' Made Us Go WTH!

The show continues to amuse its viewers, and has recently completed 5 years of its running!

In an episode, where Rajkumari Rajeshwari hides in a cupboard from which she can see everything outside but the glass appears to be a mirror on the outside, she says “Ye jaduyi aaina hai.” Well, guess what? The jaduyi aaeena is a two way mirror. Just saying.

This show is somewhat obsessed with witches, daayans and naagins. After icchadaari naagin, we have a witch, 'Patali Devi', played by Meghna Naidu of the music video 'Kaliyon ka Chaman' fame. Patali Devi possesses Simar and wants to kill Prem. (Patali Devi performs amazing magic by the way). (She also dances).

For a certain while, Avika Gor had quit the show, which led to Sana Khan replacing her as Roli. So the story that was build up, was that Roli had to get a plastic surgery and hence the change. As the story progresses, it is found out that Roli isn't actually Roli, she's infact an 'icchadaari naagin' out to take over Siddhant (Roli's husband). Shape shifter much? Also, then Roli returns and kills the naagin with a 'trishul'. Yup.

In a new 'twist' in the serial, the female lead of the show, Simar, has turned into a FLY! Twitter and Facebook are abuzz with this news. After Simar upsets a saint, she is cursed by the saint and turns into a FLY. Yes, you read it right.

Roli does seem to bring in a lot of problems. She accidentally kills a black cat, and the entire family is then followed by a streak of bad luck. Then another daayan, Mohini, played by Pratyusha Banerjee, gets angry and plans to take revenge from Roli.

So, this picture has been making rounds since a very long time. Who knew 'laddoos' would play such a crucial role in deciding your work life?
