Tripura Governor Nallu Indrasena Reddy said he will try everything possible for the development of north-east state and take forward the policies and ideas of PM Modi. Telangana BJP leader Nallu Indrasena Reddy was appointed as Tripura Governor on Wednesday.

 

On being appointed as Governor of Tripura Nallu Indrasena Reddy said, "I will try everything possible for the development of the north-east state. I will try to take forward the policies and ideas of PM Modi...I will work with the government for the development of the state..."













 












 




 

On Wednesday, Rashtrapati Bhavan communique said, Telangana BJP leader Indra Sena Reddy Nallu was appointed as Governor of Tripura. The communique said President Droupadi Murmu is pleased to make the appointments that will take effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices. He is also the national secretary of BJP. 

 

Nallu Indrasena Reddy is a Telangana-born politician. Prior to this, he served as president of the party's United state unit. Three times, Indrasena Reddy was elected as Member of Legislative from Hyderabad's Malakpet in 1983, again in 1985, and once more in 1999. He first became a MLA at the age of 33.

 

In 2023, Indrasena Reddy took part in the protest organised by BJP across Telangana against the arrest of its state president Bandi Sanjay and other leaders.

 

Elections for Telangana Assembly constituencies are set to take place on November 30, as per the Election Commission of India. The counting of votes will take up on December 3, it said.
