Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a ride on a state roadways bus in Greater Hyderabad following his public address on Thursday night. Gandhi interacted with passengers and surprised them with his presence. Accompanied by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, he boarded the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus after the public meeting held at Saroornagar in Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency.














According to ANI, Congress leader and party Lok Sabha candidate from Wayanad and Raebareli seat Rahul Gandhi and CM Revanth Reddy traveled in an RTC bus after the Jana Jathara Sabha.


Many of the passengers were taken aback to find Rahul Gandhi travelling with them but seized the oppourtunity to take selfies with him.


Soon, Rahul Gandhi distributed 'Panch Nyay' brochures to passengers and inquired about the implementation of the free bus travel scheme by the Congress government in the state. Engaging with passengers, the Congress leader elucidated the promises outlined in the Congress national manifesto for various demographics such as women, youth, farmers, and workers.

Earlier, during his speech at the public meeting, Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of plotting to dismantle the Constitution and pledged to defend it. He also committed to increasing reservations and outlined several promises that an I.N.D.I.A. bloc government, if elected, would enact to benefit different segments of society, revitalize the economy, and generate employment opportunities.


Telangana is set to vote in Lok Sabha elections on May 13.
