Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the Telangana BJP President, has stated that he will legally counter the notice served by the state IT and Industries Minister, KT Rama Rao, without tendering an apology. The notice was sent to Bandi Sanjay and A Revanth Reddy, the state Congress chief, on Tuesday, over their allegations against the minister in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) question paper leak case.

KT Rama Rao had warned that a defamation suit of Rs 100 crores would be filed against them if they failed to withdraw their allegations and publicly apologize.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar has stated that he will not be intimidated by KT Rama Rao's threats and that he will legally counter the notice. He also criticized the minister for trying to make money through the defamation suit. The BJP leader reiterated his demand for a judicial inquiry by a sitting High Court judge into the TSPSC question paper leak case and for the state government to pay Rs 1 lakh compensation to each unemployed person affected by the leak. He also stated that the BJP was fighting for the dismissal of KT Rama Rao from the state cabinet.

The legal notice from KT Rama Rao's lawyer accused both Bandi Sanjay Kumar and A. Revanth Reddy of trying to damage the minister's reputation and cast aspersions on him. The notice warned that unless the leaders refrain from making defamatory statements and apologize publicly, a defamation suit would be filed in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

The TSPSC question paper leak case has been a topic of controversy in Telangana, with allegations of corruption and political interference. The state government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter.
