Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy on Friday lodged a complaint with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) question paper leak case and urged the central agency to conduct an investigation.

The state Congress chief, along with party leaders, visited the ED regional office in Hyderabad to lodge a complaint.

According to the IANS report, Revanth Reddy alleged that cash transactions worth crores of rupees took place in the paper leak case, and there were even hawala transactions by those based abroad.

He asked the ED to question everyone involved in the case, alleging that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the state government was only interrogating a few select individuals while overlooking others.

Revanth Reddy alleged that the Telangana government was trying to protect the real culprits in the case while lower ranked employees have been made a scapegoat.

He alleged that since individuals holding key positions in the government were involved, the government constituted the SIT to shield them.

The MP claimed that the BRS government was in slumber when question papers were being leaked and sold. He alleged that KCR's family was not bothered about the deaths of students.

Revanth Reddy also alleged that minister KTR was controlling the investigation and the SIT was calling only those individuals whom the minister wanted to be questioned.

On KTR sending a legal notice, Revanth Reddy said he was not scared of his threats to file a defamation suit. He challenged KCR to recommend a probe by the CBI or the ED into the paper leak.
