Days after NIA conducted searches in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and took 27 Popular Front of India workers into custody, Telangana BJP state President Bandi Sanjay attacked ruling TRS and AIMIM leaders. While addressing a gathering on the 9th day of 'Praja Sangrama Yatra' in Hyderabad's LB Nagar, he levelled allegations that both party leaders are responsible for the expansion of PFI in the state.

Sanjay further alleged that TRS leaders are giving funds to some PFI organisations and with their help PFI is expanding with aim of establishing an Islamic State in Telangana by 2040.

BJP's Sanjay took a dig at the ruling TRS government and Telangana CM KCR. Taking to Twitter, he said, "Popular Front of India (PFI), which is wiping out Hindus, conspired destruction in Telangana using explosives. PFI is working with the blessings of MIM leaders. TRS is responsible for expansion of PFI in Telangana. Why was KCR unaware of PFI in state until NIA conducted raids?"

In an attempt to assure, he said while TRS is helping PFI's establishment, BJP will put all efforts to keep PFI at bay. "TRS leaders are giving funds to some PFI organizations. Terrorist activities are going on in the guise of voluntary organizations. PFI is expanding with aim of establishing an Islamic state in Telangana by 2040 & people shud be aware. BJP will put all efforts to throw out PFI," he added.
