YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) president YS Sharmila has pledged to waive crop loans and offer zero-interest loans if the YSRTP party wins in the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections. YS Sharmila's Praja Prasthanam Padyatra on Wednesday reached the Nizamsagar and Pitlam mandals of Kamareddy district.
She addressed people in Pitlam and accused TRS government of corruption and irregularities in the state. She levelled accusations against the KCR government of corruption in constructing the Kaleshwaram project. She said that engineering defects were seen at every step of project. YS Sharmila said that KCR had cheated the people by promising them double-bedroom houses and three acres of land.
Speaking about Munugode byelection, the YSRTP president said that it's like a dogfight in streets between the three parties and not an election for the people.
YS Sharmila pleaded with the public to bless their party in the next elections to bring the YSR welfare rule in the state. Party leaders Ram Reddy and others participated in the program.
The padayatra began in July last year when Sharmila pledged to walk across the length and breadth of the state and lend a voice to the hapless people of Telangana. Since then, Praja Prasthanam has passed through several districts covering 47 Assembly constituencies and 140 'mandals'.
According to ABP Desam, she connected with every section of the Telangana society, in urban and rural areas, through several programmes that included 'nirahara deekshas', 'Mata Muchata', Dharna, and public meetings that drew massive crowds. The padayatra is aimed at completing 4,000 kms by the year end.
