Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Telangana has created an all-time record, with an income of Rs 1.09 crore on Sunday.
The Executive Officer of Yadagirigutta Temple revealed that the temple's income was Rs 1.09 crore, the highest in a single day. This income was obtained from several Arjitha Sevas (daily paid rituals), VIP break darshan, laddu prasadam sale, vrathams, anna dana (meals) scheme, and other temple services, said officials.
Meanwhile, the Yadadri temple was filled with thousands of devotees on Sunday, with more than 40,000 people having darshan of Lord Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy and participating in 'Arjitha Sevas' held on the temple premises.
Earlier, the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple bagged the Green Place of Worship (Adhyatmika Harita Punya Kshetram) award for the years 2022-2025. The award is given by the Indian Green Building Council.

The Indian Green Building Council said the award has been given for taking up construction of the 13th century Sri Yadagirigutta Laxmi Narasimha Swamy temple without disturbing the sanctity of the Swayambhu and "preserving the holiness of the temple without touching the Swayambhu".
The award was also given for preserving the rocks in the inner and outer courtyards of the temple. The council mentioned how 100 per cent central air condition system was established and temple ducting constructions and other beautification work was undertaken without any damage to the temple walls.
The council said the award was announced after looking into provisions such as providing continuous services for the transportation of devotees.
