Hyderabad: Burju Sudhakar Reddy, a TRS councillor from Mahbubnagar municipality, filed a complaint with the State Human Rights Commission, stating that he faced a life-threatening warning from Telangana Excise and Prohibition Minister V Srinivas Goud.


According to an ABP Desam report, Sudhakar Reddy informed that he had reported unlawful buildings in the municipality to MA&UD Minister K Taraka Rama Rao and higher officials. He claimed that this became a triggering point for Srinivas Goud's use of the police department to file bogus charges against him.

Reddy has petitioned the Human Rights Commission to take action against Srinivas as soon as possible. Sudhakar Reddy also appealed to Minister KTR to protect him and take action against the minister, from whom he has been getting life-threatening warnings.


Meanwhile, revenue officers who were investigating land grabs in the municipality have complained to the police that the councillor had occupied the land. 


The Mahbubnagar Urban Tahsildar, Parthasaradhi, complained that Sudhakar Reddy had occupied 680 yards of Ramnagar Government High School's land and made a fake registration.

Meanwhile, Mahabubnagar TRS president Badmi Sivakumar asserted that the councillor who filed the complaint against the minister has been dismissed from the party. He alleged that Sudhakar Reddy collected money from the colonists for building permits.
