The political showdown in Telangana reached new heights as Karnataka Congress leaders, led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, visited the state ahead of the polls. Expressing unwavering confidence in their electoral prospects, the Congress delegation faced accusations from BRS leaders, who alleged that they were following a predetermined "script" and presenting inaccurate information about the state. In response, DK Shivakumar extended an invitation to BRS leaders to visit Karnataka, urging them to witness firsthand the successful implementation of government schemes and gain insights into the Congress's plans for Telangana.

Addressing the campaign rally, Karnataka Deputy CM told Telangana leaders to visit Karnataka and witness the schemes introduced by the Congress in the state. He then said that the senior Congress leaders would implement the promises they made to the people once Congress came to power in the state.

DK Shivakumar said, "I would like to assure you on behalf of Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi & Revanth Reddy whatever promises we have promised we will deliver and Padmavathi Reddy (Congress candidate) will deliver the promise."

"I am again telling KCR, KTR & all the people of BRS you come to Karnataka - we have implemented. Send your workers, MLAs we will show you whatever we have promised we have implemented. That is what we are going to do in Telangana," he said.

However, BRS MLC Kavitha accused Congress leaders of reading scripts given by local leaders. K Kavitha said, "Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah today visited the Kamareddy constituency from where our CM KCR is contesting. My request to Siddaramaiah is that when you are coming to a state like Telangana, and when you are speaking about a very popular Chief Minister of Telangana, you should have done your homework sincerely."

"You too, like Rahul Gandhi, have read the script which the local leaders gave you and most of your facts and figures are wrong," she ended.
