Hyderabad: Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Wednesday said that it was not suitable for the incumbent governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to criticise the Telangana government at the press meetings, calling her statement "irresponsible". Minister's comments came a day after the Governor said that it was very difficult to work with Chief Minister.

Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that in a democracy, the government is chosen by the people and that we are not nominated. He said it was inappropriate for the governor to speak like a political party member. It was inaccurate to claim that she did not want to work with Chief Minister KCR.

Srinivas said it is incorrect to make allegations against the people's elected government. TRS leaders and ministers responded after Governor Tamilisai's remarks against the Telangana government. It is well known that there has been an ongoing dispute between the Raj Bhavan and the TRS government in Telangana for some time now.

Earlier, Governor Tamilsai, who called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital, is believed to have apprised him of the recent incidents in the state including violation of the Governor's protocol and the state government doing away with the Governor's address from the Budget session of the state Legislature.

While speaking to media after meeting PM Modi, Governor Soundararajan raked up several issues where she wasn't respected being a Governor. "I am concerned about the office of Governor. It should not be repeated. The office of the Governor should be respected. I am here today but somebody else may come tomorrow," she said.
