Hyderabad: Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday inaugurated 1-Km long Skywalk in Hyderabad's MindSpace Campus, designed and built by Mind Space Business Parks REIT.


Mindspace Business Parks REIT launched their highly attractive, circular, one-kilometre-long Skywalk. This skywalk strategically connects the Raidurg Metro Station with the surrounding areas of the Mindspace Madhapur Campus. This skywalk is 1 km long and 3.5 m wide. It is estimated that 30,000 people can commute through this skywalk on a daily basis.






The inaugural ceremony was held at the Raidurg Metro Station. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments,graced the inaugural function.TSIIC Managing Director Shri E Venkat Narasimha Reddy and other government officials were present.

While inaugurating the Skywalk, MA&UD Minister KTR said that the aim is to significantly reduce traffic congestion, ensure that roads are easily accessible, and improve pedestrian experiences. This skywalk has 6 staircases, 5 escalators and 4 lifts. The Skywalk is further integrated with the highly customisable design and is designed so that even people with paraplegia are also given most comfort.


Speaking on occasion, Mr Vinod Rohira, CEO, Mindspace Business Parks, REIT, said the skywalk connects the growing business park with the city's key public transportation routes. It stands out as the best combination of travel and comfort. The goal of Mindspace is to provide pleasant experiences with easy connectivity. This allows employees to reach the level of the metro station concourse. Connected Skywalk provides the most convenient access and allows people to go straight to their offices after a short walk.
