Members of the Yadav community protested at Indira Park in Hyderabad on Thursday, alleging that Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy insulted the community, reported news agency ANI. They also demanded his apology to for his recent objectionable remarks on Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
"Around 15 days ago, Revanth Reddy insulted the Yadav community... If he apologises, this will end here, otherwise, we are ready to go to the AICC office in Delhi in the coming days," a protester, Gaddam Srinivas Yadav, said as quoted by ANI.

According to the Telangana Today report, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has condemned the comments Revanth Reddy made against the Golla-Kuruma communities while talking about Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
Rajya Sabha MP Badugula Lingaiah Yadav and MLC Yegge Mallesham said that Revanth Reddy made a comment about the names of two communities with chauvinism and arrogance.
Earlier, addressing a dharna in Hanamkonda, BRS MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said that Reddy’s remarks were "arrogant" and "irresponsible." He demanded that Reddy apologise to the Yadava community immediately. Chairman of Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA), Sunder Raj Yadav, said that the Yadavas would intensify their agitation if Reddy did not apologise. He said that the Yadavas were a proud community with a rich history and culture.
Several Yadav associations, including the Telangana Udyamakarulu Sangam, have also condemned Reddy’s remarks. They have issued warnings against him and demanded that he apologise to the Yadava community.
