Hyderabad: A man allegedly killed his second wife as she nagged him about registering land in her name. The incident took place in Telangana's Rangareddy district on Wednesday.

According to Kothur Mandal police and locals, Ketavath Srinivas, 46, Manjula, 35, from Lokya Thanda village, has three daughters. Srinivas remarried as he had no male child from his first wife. Srinivas married Sali, a 21-year-old girl from the Chitagattu Thanda, three years ago. At the time of marriage, he promised Sali that he would register one acre of land in her name. The couple had a baby boy. The child is now two years old.

Sali had been spending more time at her parents' house due to some disputes with Manjula and Srinivas. However, on Monday night (April 18), Srinivas visited Sali and brought her back to Lokya Thanda with their son after pledging to register one acre to her name, according to police.
