Hyderabad: A group of men allegedly abducted four persons from the BJP leader, former Telangana MP from Mahabubnagar, AP Jithender Reddy's apartment in Delhi's South Avenue on Monday night. The suspected kidnapping was caught on camera.


"Shocking incident at my residence in Delhi. My personal driver Shri Thapa and social activist Shri Ravi Munnur were kidnapped last night. I have filed a complaint with the concerned police department. Hoping for quick action and speedy justice," The former MP tweeted.

Three of the four were ex-MP Jithender Reddy's guests, and one of them was his driver, Tilak Thapa. Jitender Reddy has lodged a complaint to the Delhi police after four people were abducted from his residence.


Delhi police taking the issue to Twitter on Wednesday said, "A complaint was received in PS South Avenue in which it was mentioned that 4 people who were staying at Flat no. 105 South Avenue were taken away by some unknown persons."


"Upon receipt of this complaint a case FIR no. 08/22 U/s 365 IPC PS South Avenue has been registered and investigation into the matter is under progress," the city police further said in the second tweet.
