Hyderabad:

  On the occasion of Telangana's eighth foundation day, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has extended greetings to the state's people, saying the state was formed due to the sacrifices of its people and was built with the same spirit.


The chief minister participated in celebrations at Pragati Bhavan and hoisted the national flag. The national anthem was also sung. Later, he visited the Telangana Martyrs Memorial at Gun Park and paid tributes.


Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister KCR criticised that the central government is acting like a dictator and that authoritarian tendencies have increased further. He spoke about the progress made by the Telangana government in the last eight years and how the Centre is dealing with the state.


KCR came down heavily on the Centre as he called it has a futile ideology. "After 75 years of rule, democracy in the country has not matured, and decentralisation of power didn't happen. That is why the violation of the states' rights culminated in this government's reign," CM KCR said, as quoted by ABP Desam.

CM KCR said that Telangana is a leader in attracting international investment. Investors showing interest in Telangana because of the Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self-Certification System (TS iPass) Act, uninterrupted power, water supply, sustainable government, and encouragement for entrepreneurs.


8 Years Of Telangana  


Telangana is advancing in the field of Information Technology. More than 1,500 large and small IT industries are located in Hyderabad. Many global giants like Microsoft, Google, Apple, IBM, Cognizant, Amazon and Oracle are based in Hyderabad.


CM KCR said that the state's progress in the IT sector has set an example for other states. In the current scenario, the total employment in the IT sector is 7,78,121. He said that more than 24 lakh jobs had been made in the industrial and IT sectors combined.
