New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference today at 11 am in which he talked about the recent arrest of Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

During his address, he said that there is a conspiracy to arrest Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia after Satyendra Jain.

He said that by arresting Sisodia and Jain, they (center) are trying to stop the developmental work done in the education and health sector in Delhi.

He also added that the Prime Minister should ask all the agencies to arrest all Delhi ministers in one go as arresting them one by one leads to disruption of governance work.

He further said that the case against Jain was already investigated by the income tax department and questioned why the ED is investigating the same case again.

He further added, "Some people say this is because of upcoming Himachal Pradesh elections, some say this is revenge for Punjab elections. Whatever the reason is, we are not afraid to get arrested. Several raids were done on AAP leaders 5 years ago but nothing was recovered."

Kejriwal reaffirmed that he has complete faith in his party memes, and urged the centre to arrest all of them at once. He said that his party members will again get the “honesty certificate” from the centre just like five years ago.

Satyendra Jain was arrested by the ED on Monday in regard to an alleged Rs 4.81 crore money laundering case. The minister was taken into custody under criminal sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in relation to hawala transactions related to a Kolkata-based company.

After his arrest, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia claimed that it was a fake case being run against Satyendar Jain for 8 years. "ED called many times before and stopped for many years in between as they couldn't find anything. Now, it's started again as he's poll in-charge of Himachal Pradesh...He will be released in few days as case is bogus," Sisodia tweeted.

In April, assets worth Rs 4.81 crore of the family and companies "beneficially owned and controlled" by Jain were provisionally attached by ED.

The ED said in a statement that the "attached immovable properties worth Rs 4.81 crore belong to Akinchan Developers Pvt. Ltd., Indo Metal Impex Pvt Ltd, Paryas Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., Manglayatan Projects Pvt. Ltd., J.J. Ideal Estate Pvt. Ltd., Swati Jain, wife of Vaibhav Jain, Sushila Jain, wife of Ajit Prasad Jain, and Indu Jain, wife of Sunil Jain".
