Two persons suffered injuries after a fire broke out at Sri Venkateshwara Oyo hotel in Mohan Nagar of Hyderabad on Friday. The two injured persons were identified as a woman and her husband. Later, they were shifted to the hospital for treatment.

  


According to ANI, a fire broke out at a Hotel in Mohan Nagar under Chaitanyapuri police station limits, Hyderabad. 20 people were in the hotel when the fire broke. Two people, a wife and husband are injured in the incident. They were shifted to the hospital. Fire has been brought under control.

At 3.30 AM, the fire department was alerted by the staffer. Following this, the firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and rescued the guest. The guests staying on the first floor in the hotel were rescued with the help of the staircase while the people on the second floor were rescued with a ladder. 


Later, the firefighters put down the fire. The police have registered a case and further investigations are on.


Meanwhile, a massive fire broke out at a scrap godown in Sangareddy of Telangana. However, there were no casualties in the incident and reportedly firefighters were able to soon bring the blaze under control. Last month, five people died and 10 others suffered injuries after explosion of a reactor in a chemical factory in Sangareddy. The injured were immediately shifted to a government hospital nearby for treatment.
