All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday hit at Telangana BJP President and Union minister G Kishan Reddy’s “bulldozer government” remark. Reddy on Wednesday said that a 'BJP bulldozer government' is set to come in the poll-bound Telangana which will wipe out the prevailing crime here.

"Illegal commercial complexes and marriage halls have been built in the state. These lands belong to poor Muslims. BJP's bulldozer government will come in Telangana. It will be on similar lines as the UP government under Yogi Adityanath. Action will be taken against criminals and rowdies,” Reddy said while speaking to reporters in Hyderabad.

Reacting to the BJP leader’s statement, Owaisi said, "BJP President says in Telangana that we will tear down the residences in the old city with bulldozers. Kishan Reddy remember, we are not just sitting like that, we are not chickens that you can do whatever you want."

He also launched an attack on Congress saying the party has a history of not fulfilling its promises and accused the grand old party of "betraying" people.

"This is election season. They are making promises as they like. It is another matter whether they are all implemented or not. You can see in Karnataka, after the promises were made, scholarships of poor children were reduced. There is no electricity for farmers. The promises of Congress never get fulfilled. They make promises to deceive and that is their history," the Hyderabad MP told PTI.
