The campaign fervor for the Telangana Assembly Elections 2023 has intensified, with the BJP, BRS, and Congress trading accusations. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has warned that the state's populace would endure hardships if they fail to select a good party. In contrast, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Congress or BRS cannot develop Telangana but only BJP under the leadership of PM Modi can develop the state.
At an election rally in Suryapet of Telangana, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, "There are elections in Telangana on 30 November. I want to tell the people of Telangana that Congress and BRS cannot develop Telangana, only BJP under the leadership of PM Modi can develop Telangana."
"We have decided that the next CM of Telangana will be from a backward caste once BJP forms the government in the state," he said.
Cautioning people not to fall for glib talks and vote for the "wrong people", Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday said it is the public who suffer if they don't choose a good party that works for the development of the state.
Earlier, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday accused the Congress of treating the Dalits and Muslims only as a 'vote bank' without making any sincere efforts for upliftment. Rao, who resumed his campaign for the November 30 Assembly elections on Thursday after a Dussehra hiatus, warned voters not to fall for cheap rhetoric and vote for the "wrong people." Addressing the people at Achampet, KCR said, "We won't lose anything (if we aren't elected). If you defeat us, we shall take a break. We don't gain or lose anything. However, you (the people) will lose," he said.
