Telangana Congress leaders participated in a nationwide protest called ‘Sankalp Satyagraha’ on Sunday at Gandhi Bhavan to demonstrate their opposition to the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi, a party leader, as an MP. At the protest, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief A Revanth Reddy, along with AICC in charge of party affairs in Telangana Manikrao Thakre, MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy, MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and others expressed their support for Rahul Gandhi.
Revanth Reddy spoke out against the disqualification and accused the BJP of plotting against Rahul Gandhi for questioning "Prime Minister Narendra Modi and (Gautam) Adani's association" on several occasions. He stated that the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi was done hastily.
Revanth Reddy also discussed how the Adani Group was gradually acquiring control of ports, airports, and highways, with the help of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, similar to how the British had done in the past. He claimed that people were trusting the Adani Group with the support of Modi and the BJP, who would be repeating the same strategy.

Furthermore, Revanth Reddy commented on the BJP's ‘double-engine government’ called "Adani-Pradhani." He urged everyone to recognize how the BJP was aiding the Adani Group in consuming the country's wealth.
On Friday, the Lok Sabha Secretariat notified Rahul Gandhi that he had been disqualified as a Member of Lok Sabha, effective March 23, the date of his conviction in a criminal defamation case over his 'Modi surname' remark.
