Telangana CM KCR Promises To Replicate Telangana Model Of Development Across India

CM KCR said the party would pick up Maharashtra as the first field of activity by launching the party's farmers' wing from there.

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formerly the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao promised to replicate the Telangana development model across the nation with the same zeal and dedication with which the party had worked to achieve the separate state of Telangana.

CM KCR stated this during his speech at the TRS general body meeting on Wednesday, which unanimously passed a resolution to change the party's name to the BRS.

He said the party would pick up Maharashtra as the first field of activity by launching the party's farmers' wing from there. He noted that the BRS would contest the Assembly polls in alliance with the JD(S) and hoist the party flag in Karnataka.

The Telangana CM emphasised that several other political parties, including the JD(S), Samajwadi Party, and Rashtriya Janata Dal, had already pledged their full support to the TRS's efforts to form a non-BJP government at the national level. HD Kumaraswamy, a former chief minister of Karnataka and JD(S) leader, attended the TRS general body meeting.

CM KCR said, "We can grow more rapidly than America if we employ our resources domestically. We'll grow across the nation." KCR said the country was not making significant progress due to gender and caste discrimination. He added that the poor among the forward castes were suffering due to failed policies.

He said that the upliftment of farmers, Dalits and the tribal community would be the national party's main agenda. He promised to remove social and political disorders across the country. "Telangana has already shown this to the country. We will take stock of the evolving situation from time to time and move forward," he said.

The BRS leader criticised the political parties that have dominated the nation for the past 75 years for engaging exclusively in politics and failing to advance the country.

"The goal of India's independence struggle has been lost due to a lack of vision and narrow-mindedness, and the nation has been unable to advance in accordance with the ambitions of its citizens. It is regrettable that the country, which has the means to feed the entire world, is currently experiencing a severe food crisis," he remarked.
