Hyderabad: Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao On Wednesday directed the R&B Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy and officials to expedite the construction of the new State Secretariat complex without compromising quality. He suggested taking up multiple works simultaneously and completing the building within a stipulated time.


The Chief Minister inspected the Secretariat complex's ongoing development and requested that all work be done as per the original design. He looked over the Ministers' offices, conference rooms, and anterooms before giving detailed directions on the building and interior design. He urged the officials to use contemporary techniques when erecting the structure's slabs and domes and to use latest models with regard to interior works and furniture.






CM KCR instructed the staff to create greenery and landscaping projects using the open space on the Secretariat grounds, including about two acres of land at the building's centre. The CM inquired about the quality of the grills' construction work. Red stone and drainage construction works were inspected.

Parking arrangements is to be made for the convenience of foreign delegates, ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs and visitors, who will be coming to the Secretariat. CM KCR advised taking proper precautions to ensure the comfort of public representatives, officials and people coming to the Secretariat from different districts.


Ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Ch Mallareddy, State Planning Commission Vice President Boinapalli Vinod Kumar, Rajya Sabha Members Divaconda Damodar Rao, MLC Shambhipur Raju, MLA Arekepudi Gandhi, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand, and officials were present during the inspection of the secretariat work.
