Hyderabad: Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K. Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated the integrated Collectorate complex at Jangaon on Friday.
Speaking on occasion, CM KCR congratulated the local public representatives and district authorities for the excellent construction of the integrated Collectorate building. The architect Usha was especially appreciated for the construction.
KCR said, "We have been successful in setting up 24-hour electricity in Telangana. Generators and inverters are nowhere to be seen. Today, such large collectorates are being set up in our district. Have you ever thought that such a wonderful collectorate would come in the Jangaon district?"
The Chief Minister said that the employees have worked hard for the past seven years and aspire to continue doing so.
The values of the land have also increased. The farmer with three acres has become a millionaire today. Previously, the price per acre in Jangaon was two lakhs, but now it is between 20 and 30 lakhs, he added.
Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy also attended the function. He specially thanked CM KCR for constructing the wonderful Collectorate building in Jangaon, his parliamentary constituency.
"You have earlier promised to build medical and polytechnic colleges in the district. I have faith that they will be constructed too. The bus stand problem should also be resolved,'' Komatireddy Venkat Reddy told the CM.
