Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will lay the foundation stone for the three super speciality medical institutions in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The foundation stone have been laid at LB Nagar at 11:30 AM. After that, the foundation stone will be laid on the premises of Sanath Nagar Chest Hospital. Bhoomi Puja will be held at Alwal at 1 PM. KCR will then address a public meeting to be held there.


The Telangana government has allocated Rs 2,679 crore to construct these three Super Specialty Hospitals. A super speciality hospital will be constructed in LB Nagar at Gaddi Annaram with a worth of Rs 900 crore, Rs 882 crore has been sanctioned for the one at Sanathnagar and a hospital in Alwal for Rs 897 crore.

It is learned that there is a TIMS Hospital in Gachibowli at present. It was formed during the Covid Pandemic. People from Siddipet, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Nirmal and other districts can come for medical services without any traffic problems to the super speciality hospitals being built between Alwal and Outer ring road.
