In view of the upcoming Telangana Assembly election, BJP Rajya Sabha member K Laxman has announced that the party would reach out to people with a 100-day plan. The objective will be to remove the "corrupt" government led by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and bring BJP to power, PTI quoted Laxman as saying.

Laxman said that the party would stage large-scale protests and personally meet 30,000 "opinion makers" across the state who are concerned about public interest.

The party aims to address public meetings as part of its campaign, promoting the message of "vote BJP to get rid of corrupt KCR family rule".
