The Hyderabad police efficiently resolved a case related to the kidnapping of a 1.5-year-old child within a span of five hours. The child, who came along with her grandparents to play, went missing around 3 pm on Monday. Subsequently, the police after receiving the complaint at 7 pm expeditiously set up three teams to facilitate the search. The teams scrutinized CCTV footage and traced the accused.














On a girl child kidnap, P Sai Chaitanya, IPS, Deputy Commissioner Of Police said, "Yesterday, police cracked a sensational case of kidnap of a 1.5 yrs old child...The child along with her grandparents came to play at noon around 3 pm yesterday and when the grandmother went to purchase ticket the kid was missing."

"The accused Naseem Begum who was actually looking for a kid to be adopted by her elder daughter seized the opportunity kidnapped the child and taken her to their home...The complainants approached the Police around 7 pm in the evening and immediately we formed 3 teams and searched the CCTV cameras and traced the victim...Within 5 hours we rescued the victim and arrested the accused," he said.

The accused was identified as Nassem Begum, a homemaker and mother of four children.  


Earlier, this year, Hyderabad police rescued two abducted kids within two hours. Two kids who were sleeping on the footpaths of Hyderabad were abducted by the accused for a lavish life. The police combed the CCTV footage and rescued the children.
